I’m not sure if it’s because it’s not as high on the pole as Florida, New York or California for tourist or what. All I know is that just being in the city after watching a NBA game and visiting with a loved one that’s what I felt. The retirement homes are also less expensive than in bigger cities so many people opt to move in this part of the country. Overall Oregon is not a bad place to stay. The younger people there only know the town for big sports but the seniors love the assisted living environments.
