brain fitness in assisted living facility communities is a incentive to offer future tenants. We all know that the older we get the less we use our muscles including the massive brain. Maintaining and training cognitive abilities is important as a senior citizen. I don’t study neuropsychology but I know that the mere exercising of your brain power deals with it in a neat way. Assisted Living facilities have your usual activities like bingo and cards but brain exercises are so much better. Plus they promote a healthier lifestyle at and older age. You want to keep that memory as active as possible.

  1. You are absolutely right – brain exercise is so important. That and more is addressed in my website – http://www.ReBuildingYou.com – which is full of useful information – all free.

Human needs – I call the colours – can be divided into 5 groups and we have to take care of each colour as we age… To keep them shining bright.

Physical, Joy and Cognitive needs are addressed by dance – which is really important too so that we stay supple. You don’t have to stiffen up as you age, I promise. Financial and emotional needs are the other 2 colours that make up the complete rainbow.

I would be really glad if you would share my url with as many people as possible – together we can do anything whether it be age gracefully or rebuild a life after trauma.

    With love,
    Julie
